Academic Method

Academic Method

Small Classes
We believe in small classes which enable individual attention and effective teaching and monitoring of students. The maximum number of students in a class is 30.

Intensive Tuition and Assessment
Our intense teaching methods ensure that students are familiar with all aspects of the syllabus. Using well planned timetables, continuous assessment and homework, students’ progress is monitored.
Students are tested monthly and examined at the end of each term.

Parents are kept informed with reports on the academic performance and welfare of their children trice a term. Students who score below sixty-percent at the end of any test season are placed on academic probation where they receive more personalised coaching and have to put in extended hours of study. Those who make ninety-percent and above are placed on the honour roll for the term. To enrich learning and stimulate a healthy competitive spirit, students have opportunities to represent the school in national competitions.

Sports
It was said earlier playing makes a spoiled brat, but now it has been completely revolutionised as all work and no play makes jerk a dull boy. As the world is progressing & modernizing we need to move hand in hand with that as the glory of the nation is depicted from its sports. Our institute has begged championship in the year 2008, 2009 and 2010 in T- 20 school cricket. In weight lifting Vijay Yadav and Ashutosh Karela brought laurels to the institute. Other then that the school aims at bringing out the best from the students who are blind or ignorant of their own potential and capabilities.

Cultural Programme
Cultural programmes are one of the most important step of progress of any institution. Our school has its forte in the same, which is presented after the tiring & hard work of the students and teachers it is clearly visible in the form of cultural programme.

Parents’ Involvement
We encourage close involvement of parents in monitoring the progress of their children. Open days are held trice every term, where parents can discuss issues with teaching staff on the academic performance and conduct of their children. Parents may also be invited by the principal on discipline issues with their children.

The Parent-Teacher Meet presents a platform for parents to contribute on issues affecting their children. A parent’s tea party is also held once a session to acquaint parents with real classroom issues. We celebrate our mothers once every session during Mothers’ Day.
